The Cornhill Quarter is anticipated to deliver in excess of 150,000 sq ft of mixed-use commercial space over a series of development phases. Following the completion of the Corn Exchange building in October, we are on site with phase two of the development along Sincil Street under construction by Lindum Group. This phase will deliver 21,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant space, as well as an enhanced walkway through to the new 1,000 space multi-storey car park.
Flying Tiger, Moss Bros, Thomas Cook and Cosy Club are all open in the Corn Exchange building, and we have recently signed Everyman. Other large-name retailer deals are set to be announced shortly.
The Cornhill Quarter is the most significant enhancement to the central retail zone in Lincoln city centre in decades. In addition to £30 million being invested in related transport infrastructure improvements, a further £1.5 million is being invested to enhance the urban realm of the scheme.
